CV

I’ve always been balancing my love for visual arts and literature with an interest in natural sciences. In high school, I participated in a year-long “Open Science” internship programme at Czech Academy of Sciences, where I researched stagings of ancient Greek drama in Czech theatres. After graduating, I decided to pursue a bachelor degree in History of European Culture at Charles University, but at this time, I was already set on becoming a conservator. This lead me to University of Chemistry of Technology in Prague, where I started a bachelor in Technology of Conservation-Restoration of Cultural Heritage Objects. Despite this main career objective, I was still drawn to literary history and theory in my studies at UK, which I completed with a thesis on the polemics of Karel Čapek and Jaroslav Durych in 2024. In the same year, I finished my bachelors at UCT Prague, with a research on packaging materials of celluloid objects.

Currently, I am studying a Master in Conservation and Restoration of Cultural Heritage at Universiteit van Amsterdam, specializing in Contemporary Art.

I’ve been a laboratory assitant at the National Library of the Czech Republic between 2023-2024. From January to August 2025, I’ve been an intern at the Chemical-technological Laboratory of the National Gallery in Prague.

Maintaining a healthy community and being an active participant in it was a very important aspect of my university studies, especially at UCT Prague, where I organised the Lesamáj festival and collaborated on several extra-curricular projects (designing an “escape-room” style game in the university building for high school students, launching a permanent clothes-swap, organising social nights for students of conservation technology,…).
